As stated on WDA’s website: “[…] Split Bread differentiates it[self] from the typical sandwich shop, with a hip, 1920’s homage to the butcher shop, targeted at the SOMA tech-savvy work, breakfast and lunch crowds. The design employs black-and-white mosaic tile floors, Carrera marble-topped podiums, walnut veneer walls and custom luminaires. A colorful mural by San Francisco artist, Chris Lux, greets guests on the feature wall and sets the mood.” My involvement on the project included Schematic Design layouts, Design Development rendering packages, and Construction Documentation for permit approval.
