A short and sweet post advertisement for an event I have been working on for the past month and 1/2. The 2010 AIA Seattle & WASLA Happy Hour series starts in less than a weeks time at Miller|Hull. In my particular role I created all the digital and traditional graphic material for the AIA Seattle’s Young Architects Forum (YAF) including the poster above, a twitter account, and a facebook page. For the YAF logo (found above on the poster and the twitter page), I was going for a blueprint feel where as all the advertisement material for the event itself, draws on the design aesthetic of the Bauhaus Movement. Overall I think the design turned out great and I am excited to receive our shipment of business/reminder cards (I will be sure to post photos when they arrive).
I am really looking forward to the event as I am a huge fan of Miller|Hull‘s work and philosophy. I hope you will join me and my fellow YAF members. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comments below.
